The weekly class schedule includes time for Centering and Restorative Justice Council. Community engagement always has an academic component, and students will often prepare for and/or engage in this work on the school premises. When sufficiently prepared, they will also venture out into the community to work on environmental and social projects. Learning associated with the creation and carrying out of these projects, as well as reflections upon them when projects are completed, are also incorporated into student portfolios.
