Suzi Splinter - Interim Executive Director

Suzi Splinter is currently the Interim Director of Quest Academy .  She has a rich background in private, and public charter education that spans 20 years in Minnesota schools.  Ms. Splinter obtained her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College and holds a Master’s degree in Learning Technology from The University of Saint Thomas.  She recently completed charter school leadership training through an innovative Leadership Academy for Charter and Alternative School Leaders. This program was a collaborative effort between the Center for School Change and the Minnesota Department of Education. Through this venture, school leaders were immersed in a programming designed to enhance skills in instructional leadership, operations and management, school governance and school finance.  With both a business and educational mentor throughout the program, Ms. Splinter was able to gain valuable insights into the most successful practices.  For 10 years, Ms. Splinter has worked in Minnesota charter schools in teaching, administrative, board and consulting capacities, and is excited to share her experience with Quest Academy in her current role. An area of specialty for Ms. Splinter is student assessment through which student individual learning needs may be effectively addressed.  Ms. Splinter is currently licensed in Special Education and continues to provide support to Quest Academy Special Education students.

Robbie Deering - Office Manager

Robbie Deering grew up in Cambridge, MN.  She graduated from Metropolitan State University with a degree in Family and Work Life Balance.  She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree at Adler Graduate School to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  Robbie works as the Office Manager and this is her second year.  She handles employee files, student files, and assists the staff with whatever they need.  When she is not working, she enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her nieces and nephew, and remodeling her home.
